Rustic Whimsy

Located just outside Charlottesville, this 11,000 square foot custom farmhouse was one of the most detailed and expansive builds completed by the firm during my time there. I was brought onto the team through this project and worked closely with the architect, builder, and clients from early design through installation.

The client wanted to maintain the classic farmhouse character while incorporating her own whimsical touches. I contributed to space planning, finish selections, lighting design, and custom millwork development, helping to create a cohesive material palette across the home’s large footprint. Thoughtful detailing, layered textures, and subtle moments of pattern bring warmth and personality while maintaining a timeless foundation.
